day-to-day conversation. 

  

ITALIAN LANGUAGE and CULTURAL EXCURSIONS

20 hours per week           Euro 1.050,oo 

   On-site, tutor-guided Italian convertsation during excursions and nd visits to Florence, the Chianti Wine Area, Fiesole, Siena or other Tuscan towns. Visits are conducted either entirely on foot, or by car and on foot, or by bus and train and on foot. During excursions, the tutor will adapt her language to conform to, and improve, your current knowledge of Italian. In this program the price includes excursions transport fees.

 

ITALIAN LANGUAGE and COOKING ACTIVITIES

20 hours per week           Euro 1.050,oo

   Total hours shared between language tuition and cooking. Includes visits to local stores and markets to select the appropriate recipe ingredients. You will be taught the art of interpreting recipe language, techniques used in preparing the ingredients for cooking, tasting and traditional table setting. 

  

ITALIAN based on OPERA LIBRETTI                    

20 hours per week           Euro 1.150,oo                          

   Text comprehension and explanation of the grammar and  historical period. Tuition based on two of the following libretti: La Traviata, Cavalleria Rusticana, Rigoletto, La Bohème, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Tosca, Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni.

 

 ITALIAN LANGUAGE and HISTORY OF ART
20 hours per week            Euro 1.150,oo   
   Tuition, visits to Florence and Fiesole, selecting from:
  -  The Etruscans and Romans in Florence and Fiesole.
  -  Medieval Period in Florence: Tower Building in Florence.    
  -  The Rinascimento: Florence and its Palaces.
